Corporate Campus

The operational heart of the Group, in the center of Italy

The Vetrya Corporate Campus in Orvieto, Umbria, is a place where research and innovation are tested in an ecologically sustainable setting, dedicated to the companies and divisions of the Group.

The heart of the Group

The operational heart of the Group is in Orvieto, in Umbria, at the gravitational center of Italy.

The structure consists of two distinct buildings on a surface of 40,000 square meters and is dedicated to the companies and divisions of the Vetrya Group.

It includes green areas, a sports center, museum areas, a rose garden, spaces for leisure, a beauty center, a work café, a wellness area and a digital detox area.

Auditoriums and training

The Eugenio Fumi and Mauro Sentinelli auditoriums and the rooms reserved for training host events in collaboration with Italian and international universities. They are also the focus of the activities of the Bottega Digitale and of Vetrya Academy.

These spaces make the Campus a meeting point between business, education and research. Students, researchers and professionals can learn from each other, while the Group keeps in touch with new ideas and talent.

A laboratory for sustainable innovation

The Corporate Campus is the place where, in the name of ecological sustainability, research and innovation are tested through solutions that merge the internet, telecommunications, media, cloud computing and renewable energy.

This mix reflects the Group’s identity. Vetrya works at the junction of network technologies and digital services, and the Campus lets it try out ideas in real conditions before offering them to Clients.

The Campus has its own website, campus.vetrya.com, where visitors can learn more about its life and activities.

Buildings and landscape

Two buildings

The two distinct buildings, set on 40,000 square meters, house the companies and divisions of the Group and provide workspaces for the many teams that cooperate there.

Green areas and rose garden

Open green spaces and a rose garden give colleagues and visitors a calm natural setting that supports creativity and relaxation.

Museum areas

Museum areas add a cultural dimension, linking technology with art and history in a region that is rich in both.

Well-being at work

The Campus recognizes that good ideas come from people who feel well. A sports center, a wellness area and a beauty center support physical health, while a work café and spaces for leisure encourage informal conversation between colleagues from different teams.

The digital detox area is a particularly meaningful choice for a technology group. It offers a place to step away from screens and notifications, reminding everyone that technology should serve people and not the other way around. This echoes the Vision of the Group, which places people at the center of all things.

Attention to well-being also supports the quality of work. Rested and motivated teams create better products and serve Clients with more care.

The geographic center of Italy

Orvieto lies in Umbria, in the center of the country. Its position makes it accessible from the north and the south of Italy and gives the Group a base close to the territory in which it grew.

Choosing such a place for a technology campus shows that digital innovation does not need to be limited to large cities. A setting of landscape, history and community can inspire people and attract talent that values quality of life.

Education, universities and Vetrya Academy

Training is a central activity of the Campus. Events organized together with Italian and international universities bring academic research into contact with business practice. The Bottega Digitale and Vetrya Academy give structure to the Group’s efforts to teach digital skills and to prepare people for careers in technology.

This work contributes to the wider community. It helps students understand how cloud computing, artificial intelligence, big data and digital media are used in real organizations and supports the development of the skills the region and the country will need.

Visiting and learning more

The Campus is open to the experience of the Group’s Clients, partners and guests, who can see how Vetrya organizes its work and its approach to innovation. Further details about its activities and spaces are available on its dedicated website, campus.vetrya.com.

For the Group, the Corporate Campus is more than a head office. It is a statement of values: innovation rooted in the land, sustainable, open to learning and focused on people.

One place for many companies

Because the Campus is dedicated to the companies and divisions of the Vetrya Group, people who work on cloud computing, applications, video, design and marketing share the same site. Informal meetings in the café or the gardens often lead to ideas that formal planning would not produce.

Having teams close together also speeds up work. Questions are answered quickly, projects can be reviewed face to face and new colleagues learn from the experience of those around them. The Campus therefore supports the Group’s method of short cycles, early testing and continuous improvement.

Ecosustainability in practice

The commitment to ecological sustainability is stated clearly in the purpose of the Campus. By bringing together internet, telecommunications, media, cloud computing and renewable energy, the site becomes a living example of how digital technology and care for the environment can progress together.

Experience gained there can then inform the solutions the Group offers to Clients in energy, utilities, manufacturing and the public sector, where efficient use of resources is a growing priority.
